One For Teachers / One for Students
🌸 Hi Guys, Mio here —
Hope winter’s been treating you kindly! Typing just let you know about two new courses I’m teaching this April — one for Alexander teachers, and one for anyone interested in learning how to the Alexander Technique on their own quickly!
For Alexander Teachers:
✨ Solo Lesson Ensemble
Starting Thursday, April 10th, 12:00-1:30 PM Eastern.
This is an 8-class series where a small group of teachers will get “private” lessons inside a group setting. Every class focuses on:
✅ Improving your performance in any activity you choose
✅ Watching me demonstrate how I teach using Primal Alexander™ — and me giving you a few ideas about how to use this stuff in your own teaching.
Each class includes:
➡️ 60 minutes for individual lessons
➡️ 30 minutes learning Subtle Movement Empathy™ (SME)
What’s SME?
It’s one of Primal Alexander’s superpowers — a method of self-observation that:
👉 Speeds up improvements in your own Use
👉 Boosts your empathy & “reading” skills (beyond just tactile sensitivity)
👉 Helps you turn every lesson you observe into a breakthrough for yourself
Note: Only 8 teachers can join this one, so if you’re interested, let’s talk soon!
For Everyone Else:
✨ Teach Yourself The Alexander Technique
Starting Tuesday, April 8th, 12:00-1:30 PM Eastern.
This is a 6-week group course designed for anyone who wants to understand & apply the Alexander Technique in daily life — or to solve particularly stubborn issues.
You’ll learn:
✅ The 17 Primal Études™ — simple, practical activities that help you apply Alexander principles to everything from chronic pain relief to posture to performance anxiety
✅ Curious Thinking™ — a flexible awareness tool you can use to solve just about any body/mind/performance puzzle
Best part? You won’t just improve your Use — you’ll also be training the best Alexander teacher you’ll ever have: YOU.
Want to know more?
Over the next few weeks, I’m chatting with folks who think one of these programs might be a good fit.
WARNING:
These aren’t for everyone — you need to be up for change and ready to think outside the box a bit.
If that’s you, let's do a quick 15-minute Zoom to see what's up. Click below to do so.
Looking forward to talking with you soon!
Cheers,
Mio
